National Consumer Rights Day is celebrated on December 24
In India, National Consumer Day is observed on 24th December every year to spread awareness about the importance of consumers, their rights and responsibilities. On December 24, 1986, the Consumer Protection Act of 1986 received the assent of the President and came into force.
