Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (14 April 1891 – 6 December 1956) was an Indian jurist, political leader, Buddhist activist, philosopher, thinker, anthropologist, historian, orator, noted writer, economist, scholar, editor, revolutionary and Buddhist revivalist. He was also known as Babasaheb . He was also the President of the Executive Committee on the Drafting of the Constitution of India.
