Good Governance Day

In 2023, the 99th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee is being celebrated.

The Good Governance Day (GGD) is celebrated every year in India on December 25 to mark the birthday anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The day was established by The Government of India in 2014 to honor Vajpayee by fostering awareness among the people regarding accountability in government.

In 2023, the 99th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee is being celebrated. On this occasion, the President, Prime Minister and many other dignitaries of the country paid floral tributes at his memorial 'Sadaiv Atal'.
